At Reception unique Fridge Magnets are available about the sights of Miskolc, and a book about Lillafüred “Képeslapok a Palotából” – 90 years time-travel in Lillafüred, a book introducing the 75 years old history of Hotel
Obstacle-Free rooms
The common rooms of the hotel can be accessed with wheelchair without obstacles. In addition, we offer one obstacle-free room for our guests and a obstacle-free bathroom on the ground floor and on the floor -1.
Table reservation
Please call Catering to reserve a table at our Restaurant at the 145 extension. The payment happens in the restaurant by cash, credit card or SZÉP card.
Change of bedclothes
We change your bedclothes at least twice a week but if you would like to have your bedlinen changed daily, the price is 1 000 HUF/ person.
Baby-cot
We provide a baby cot with bed clothes for our guests traveling with babies. Further baby equipments can be requested: baby bath tub, toilet reducer. High Chair is only available at the restaurant.
Weddings, banquets, conferences, meetings and receptions
Our Hotel offers a full range of conference services to our guests. We are happy to

Located at the entrance of the Semmelweis Hospital or different Bank Branches are available in the City Centre.

The Lobby Drink bar is located on the ground floor. Opening Hours are daily between 7 am and 10 pm.

You will find the shoe cleaner kit in the closet of the room.

A shoe cleaning machine is at your service next to the entrance.
Luggage
On request we can store your luggage in the cloakroom, please kindly contact Reception on the extensions of 100. Please indicate your needs at the Reception, our colleague is at your disposal.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the whole area of the hotel. All of our rooms are non-smoking; the appointed smoking areas are located in the outdoor part of the hotel. In case Housekeeping finds signs of smoking in the room, the hotel might charge a restitution with the amount of 10.000 HUF.

Available to borrow free of charge at Reception.
Wake up call services
You can request wake up call services at the Reception at the extension 100.
Safe
Safes are located in the rooms and can be used free of charge . We take no responsibility for any objects left in the room unattended.

Our Restaurants are air-conditioned and non-smoking. We do not serve alcohol to guests under 18. You can receive further information about our Restaurant services at the restaurant or at Reception on extension 100.
We kindly ask our guests to consume the selected or ordered food in the Restaurant. In case you would like to take away additional food, you can ask for it for an extra charge. Before entering the restaurant areas we kindly ask our guests to use the located handsanitizer machines and follow the specified direction. There are several hand sanitizer stations planted in the restaurant areas, we encourage everyone to use it frequently, especially while managing food.

Bathrobes
Bathrobes can be requested at the Reception for free of charge.
Bathroom accessories
If you need any accessories that you cannot find in the room, please call the Reception and we will provide you with a toothbrush , toothpaste, razor, chair or slippers.
Pharmacy
The nearest pharmacy is located next to the main entrance of the Semmeilweis Hospital. Please ask the Reception about the opening hours.
Hairdryer
The hairdryer is part of the bathroom equipment.
Pets
Your pets are also welcome at our Hotel in our ground floor rooms for an extra charge. Please kindly be informed that we cannot allow pets in the catering units and wellness area due to hygienic reasons. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Our hotel accepts all major international credit or debit cards. (Visa, Eurocard/Mastercard, Cirrus Maestro, American Express)
Fridge magnet
Thanks to our unique magnets presenting the sights of Miskolc, a tangible memory of our hotel remains with you even after the departure. Please inquire at reception.

Organised at the Roman Catholic Mindszenti church at the Mindszent tér (square).
Weekdays: 7 am and 6:30 pm.

„Do not disturb!”
If you don’t want to be disturbed in your room , please put the “Do not Disturb” sign on the door handle . In case you keep this sign on your door all day , we will only provide you room service at your request.
Check Out time
Please kindly check out until 10 am on the day of your departure. If you wish to have a late check out please call the Reception at 100.
Minibar
A minibar package can be requested at Reception.
Washing and ironing services
Washing is available from Monday till Friday, this service is not available on weekends and holidays. We can turn back on the same day only those clothes that has been given before 9 AM. Price is 900 Ft that we charge to the roomrate.
Please give only clothes that does not requiere any special threatments.
In case you need an iron, call reception at 100 and we will deliver the iron and ironing board to your room free of charge.
Technical failure
In case of a technical failure, please call the Reception at 100.

If you have medical complaints or in any case of unexpected sickness, please contact a specialist. Our Reception will gladly provide you the contact details of the nearest medical services and hospital.

Should you have any complaints or comments, please kindly contact the Manager in charge during your stay so that we can remedy your problem as soon as possible.

Parking area
For The groups with autobuses we have a separated area for parking. Our Hotel provides parking area for our guests who arrive by car in a parking facility at a closed area secured by cameras or in front of the hotel free of charge. Please kindly be informed the Hotel takes no responsibility for any financial damages arising from parking.
Money change
You can change money in the OTP bank located a few kilometers away.
Extra bed
We will fit the room with an extra bed on request, free of charge until the age of 4, and extra fee from the age of 5, please contact the reception if needed on 100.
Organisation of programs
Please inquire at the Reception or on the number 145 for the latest programs out – and indoors.
Radio
You can listen to radio channels using the TV or on the radio in the room.

Sports equipment to rent
You can rent electro-scooters right by the Hotel provided by the local government. The rent spots can be found all around city. To rent these vehicles you have to download TIER application to your smartphone.

Széchenyi recreation card
We accept the SZÉP Card at the Hotel /OTP, MKB, K&H/. The only criteria is the card user has to be the owner of the card and the reservation.
Cleaning
Daily cleaning is managed between 9 am and 3 pm. In case of individual request, please ask the Reception or them on 100. A chair for the bathroom is available on request.

Due to the hotel’s central location, the bus stop at the Népkert offers several options to travel. The timetable for buses and trams can be found next to the Reception. You can buy tickets at the nearest tobacco shop.

Served in our restaurant in the B building of our hotel.
Opening hours: from Monday to Saturday between 7 am and 10 pm, on Sundays 7 am and 5 pm. For our hotel guest we provide 10% discount from the prices.

Call reception at 100 and we will deliver the iron and ironing board to your room free of charge.

Hotel rooms are available from 2 pm on arrival day. On departure day please leave the room until 10 am. In our hotel there is a possibility for early check in and late check out, in case of free capacity. Please feel free to get more informations at the Reception.

Key-card
We would like to inform our guests, that we charge 1000 HUF to the room
account for each room key card not returned to the reception at check-out.
External visitors
Only those guests may stay in the rooms who registered themselves at the reception. We kindly ask you that if you have any visitors during your stay, please welcome
them at the Lobby or in the Restaurant.
Safety
As a safe solution you can leave your values in the safe in your closet, free of charge. The hotel does not take any responsibilty for the values, cash left in the room. Our central safe can be found at the reception and the hotel guests can use as well, for free.

Our restaurant is air conditioned and non smoking. In our hotel we do not serve guests with alcohol under the age of 18. You can get further information about our restaurant services in the dining room or at the reception (extension 100). We kindly ask our guests to have the chosen/ordered foods in the restaurant. If you want to take away any food from the restaurant, except the ordered ones, you can do it for extra fee.
Before entering the restaurant areas we kindly ask our guests to use the located hand sanitizer machines and follow the specified direction while selecting food from the buffet table. There are several hand sanitizer stations planted in the restaurant areas, we encourage everyone to use it frequently, especially while managing food.
Dress code
We kindly ask you to wear appropriate attire (lounge-suit, closed shoes) during the main dining. Our dress code is smart-casual.

- Flammable and explosive items are not allowed to bring to the hotel.
- Exit routes should be free and empty for all the way.
- The equipment of the rooms should be used as the should be used.
- The usage of the electronic heat generator is not allowed.
- Smoking and open flame usage is not allowed
- Before leaving the room – in any occasion – please make sure that every electric device is disconnected.
- You can find the map of the exit routes on the door. The red arrow sign shows you the way for the emergency exit. In the case of fire the usage of the elevators are not allowed.

We kindly ask our guests if you notice any malfunctions in the room, please inform the reception.
Values of the hotel
Please use the equipment of the hotel purposefully. The equipment of the hotel is not allowed to bring out the building. The reorganization of the room equipment should be done by a hotel crew member in all case. In the case of damage of the hotel equipment the hotel charges compensation.
Lost objects
We register the objests lost in the hotel areas and the room, we keep them for 6 months and for request, we post it to our guests.
Wellness
The wellness center is open from 4 pm to 10 pm. For using the wellness please ask for towels at the Reception free of charge.
Pets
We are happy to see pets in the hotel, they can stay in rooms on the ground floor for extra fee. For hygiene reasons dogs (and other pets) cannot visit the catering units and wellness department. Thank you for your understanding.
Cleaning
We do daily cleaning only between 9-15 hours. In case you do not need daily cleaning, please place the “don’t bother” board on the doorknob.
The hotel changes up 10.000 HUF on any case if the damage is not cleanable by any regular method.

As our main priority, the City Hotel Miskolc keeps safety in the first place, for our guests and staff as well.
In order to be uninterrupted, with maximum security to enjoy the unique milieu of our hotel, we apply the following special hygiene and preventive precautions for the benefit of our guests.
We are taking care of the increased safety of our guests and colleagues in a mask.
Although the mask obscures the smiles of our colleagues and causes a challenge in communication, but health comes first.
We want to ensure the security for our guests and colleagues even more in this way!
Our staff has already received a high rate of both vaccinations.

- In the pools, we use chlorine according to professional recommendations!
- Before using the pool, please take a shower. When leaving the pool a shower is also recommended.
- We do not open the wellness for non-staying-guests.

- According to the professional recommendations, we keep a bigger distance between tables in the lobby and restaurant, and also between the lounge chairs in the wellness.
- In the common areas, we placed several sanitary stations and added sanitary hand soaps to the bathrooms.
- We do several sanitary cleanings in the common areas and made our cleaning protocol even more tightened.
- Our colleagues pay increased attention to their personal hygiene, washing hands even more regularly, and sanitizing them after. The staff got detailed instructions on COVID regulations and hygiene protocol. We put together our own COVID handbook and we keep updating it according to the regulation. Our colleagues can only come to work healthy, and without exception, they have to wear a mask while working. We have a colleague specified on COVID regulation, who makes sure that everything is written in the handbook and fully followed. She also helps with any questions of our guests if needed!
- The guest information brochure in the rooms is now totally contactless, as we made them digitally approachable through a QR-code.
- We made our booking rules more flexible so it is easier to modify or delete your booking.

Upon arrival, the hotel reserves the right to declare the infection and is asymptomatic prior to check-in, or to ask the guest to present a safety certificate or an EU COVID 19 digital vaccination certificate.
If the guest during their stay at the hotel has symptoms characteristic of the infection (fever, dry cough, shortness of breath, sudden loss of sense of smell or disturbance of taste), you must immediately inform the hotel orally or in writing, in which case the hotel may take further action.
